Help, I need to know how to read the word "English" in Japanese. I'm trying to buy a gift certificate...? - word for thanks certificate
I try, a gift certificate from Amazon Japan to buy for my son. He lives in Japan and around the certificate directly from Amazon.jp means that no 2 / 3 of the certificate in the shipping and handling costs. But the whole page is in Japanese, and I can not read the word "English". I really appreciate any help. Thank you!

"English" is in Japanese, "英语"
If you are on amazon.co.jp, you will see "the English link on the right side behind the first.
I think you can see all the letters in English by clicking here.
You can see parts of the site in Japanese English, but I did not call you with the certificate, not without research to purchase.
I live in Japan and the use of this web site exclusively American. The only time that I use, when a Japanese bookstore for titles by the Japanese and I Kinokuniya phone (next day delivery and no delivery for orders over 5000 yen).
Do a search on some titles that you think your child would like the two locations. You will see that the price per pound of 50% to 100% higher than in Japan, the Amazon and the Japanese site offers perhaps 10% of the selection of books. You're right, that shipping prices are higher, but not so high that the final purchase price less.
Think about it. 90% better selection of books, dramaticCheaper prices, the entire communication in English.
In general, the order in which the Japanese version of Amazon's, so that they give to and take their share, without any benefit to you or your child.
Go here http://www.amazon.co.jp
Click on "English" at the top right of the page
ギフト 券 then click on the tabs near the top half.
Much of the content pages on the site are not displayed in English, but you might be able to see more. Be careful before ordering.
